To access Amazon Instant Video on devices other than your computer, you will need to know how to add it. For some, it is preinstalled. This is the case if you own Amazon branded devices, like the Amazon Fire Stick, as an example. For others, you need to know how to add the application. In most cases, this is a simple setup that does not require a large amount of effort or time. Blu Ray players can have the Amazon Instant Video app. A large selection of these devices already have Amazon Instant Video compatibility. Adding it to Panasonic Blu Ray devices or to Samsung Blu Ray devices, or one of the other compatible Blu Rays from other manufacturers, is not that hard. For some, you might have installed it already when you first set everything up. For others, you just need to find the app. Due to its popularity, it is readily available in most Blu Ray app stores. Media streaming devices typically have the app available in the app store or already on the device, too. Adding it to Apple TV, as example, is easy. You can stream it by using the AirPlay option if you also have an iPad, which does mean going to iTunes and downloading it from there. It will take no time at all to go from the small tablet to your television. Adding it to other streaming devices is even easier. You can add it to Plex, to XBMC, and to Roku by navigating into the available apps and selecting Amazing Instant Video. Either add it to your apps through download or start using it if it is downloaded already.
The same applies to game consoles. If you want to add it to Wii, you just go into the app store and locate the app. It is available for all major game consoles so this applies to each of them.
Adding the app to Windows Media Center is possible but it does require a third party application. Once that application is downloaded, you can begin streaming your movies and shows from your Windows device immediately.
