This may also be extended even further by taking an internship in a real estate law office. Before you know it the entire day is filled with this new special interest. As long as the attorney is licensed in the state where he has chosen to work, he can focus his practice on these transactions and others requiring his expertise in property and contract law.

A residential real estate attorney is responsible for reviewing and or preparing all of the necessary documents that will be required for the transaction. He must be knowledgeable about lease and purchase agreements. He may be asked to give an analysis of these papers and give advise to his client. Since he attended law school and passed the bar exam, he is the only one who is licensed to practice and give advise on these matters during the course of a real estate transaction.
