Being on a constant threat of living under fear by Maoists, the state people are moving towards cities that are in comparison safe for living. Maoists are now also stated as terrorists as they instill fear in people. After the brutal killing of congress leaders by Naxals in Chattisgarh the situation has become drastic. Operations have been accelerated in the area after the incident and central government has been asked to send armed forces in the area.
Several operations by state and central government is active for controlling situations in Naxal hit areas. In latest Chattisgarh news, the anti-Naxal operations in Maoist hotbed of Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh are set to get a boost with Indian Air Force (IAF) deciding to provide helicopter support from Nagpur where a new unit is being set up. Imposing need to deploy some new systems in the Maoist-hit areas, which would provide better surveillance capabilities to the forces there, IAF Air Marshal Chief NAK Browne stated in a DRDO function. The IAF has at present deployed six Mi-17 choppers from a unit based in Gorakhpur and they operate from three locations including Ranchi in Jharkhand and Raipur and Jagdalpur in Chhattisgarh to support the operations. Whom to say terrorists, the one who we hear killing people near borders in Jammu & Kashmir news or the people who are using our own facilities and killing us. Inner threat is more vicious as outer terrorism can be stopped at borders but inner terrorism has no such borders. Recent case of Pakistani prisoner Sanaullah Ranjay, who was attacked at a jail in Jammu has ignited sparks in relations between India and pakistan. Now, asking Indian government to handover Sanaullah on humanitarian grounds, first they need to think over the death of Sarabjit Singh. All humanitarian grounds were crossed by Pakistan governance and death was sentenced to the Indian prisoners. The cases of Sarabjit Singh and Sanaullah Ranjay have provoked tension between India and Pakistan.
