Teams that are Participating in IPL 6

Since inception of Twenty20 cricket in 2003 by the England and Wales Cricket Board the platform of cricket has changed a lot. Started as means of making local teams competing each other to improve game soon resulted in changing the pattern of cricket game. A total of 5 IPL series have been played till now and every time it has attracted more and more viewers. The beginning of IPL 6 also put the adrenaline of cricket fans in India as cricket is more than a game here. People supporting their teams cheer up at each runs hit. The adrenalin rush, among people is so high that they find time to watch each and every ball of the game in their busy schedule. This shorter time frame of cricket has been well appreciated by cricket fans. Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB): With a team so strong including Virat Kohli(Player of the Year) and Chris Gayle(Best batsman in T20), they are yet to brag one title. The team also has very renowned players to their name.4. Mumbai Indians: They have always been a tough competitor for any IPL team they played. Spearheaded by Ricky Ponting this team includes Sachin Tendulkar, Harbhajan Singh, Lasith Malinga and several other renowned names. 5. Rajasthan Royals: The first title of IPL T20 was won by the team Rajasthan Royals headed by Shane Warne. This time Rahul Dravid is leading the team and has other renowned faces of cricket. This team is owned by Lachlan Murdoch, Raj Kundra and his wife Shilpa Shetty Kundra.6. King’s Eleven Punjab: This team has proved it several times for being a contender of grabbing IPL T20 and in this new season of IPL 6 are the most worthy contenders for the title. 7. Delhi Dare Devils: The second most powerful team in T20 matches who made it for two times in semi-finals. This team has a strong batting as well as bowling line-up.8. Pune Warriors: This team is owned by Sahara Pariwar and is lead by Yuvraj Singh. Though they came late in IPL matches but still more is expected from this team.9. Sunrisers Hyderabad: The least expected team for grabbing IPL 6 title is creating miracles now. With win over RCB this team has topped the point chart of IPL matches.
