Halloween Fancy dress – plan early!

If you’re going to a Halloween party, or trick or treating with your children, nieces or nephews, you are going to need a Halloween costume.

Most Halloween parties are held on the weekends prior or just after October 31st.  You should order your fancy dress costume well before this.  Shops have an abundance of Halloween outfits to choose from, but the popular costumes and sizes could sell out quickly. Buy early and avoid disappointment. 

Older children always know exactly what costume they want to wear. Find the costume online and order it well in advance, so if it doesn’t fit you’ll still have plenty of time to re-order.

There’s a fabulous range of categories in Halloween fancy dress so decide how scary you want to be and then have a look at the options.  Do you want to frighten people and love to wear gruesome costumes? Try a Texas chainsaw massacre costume.  You can buy the whole outfit including apron, trousers wig and mask, or you can just buy the mask. Accessories include Leatherface teeth and the chainsaw.  Douse yourself in some fake blood and your ready to go.

Maybe you’d like to scare people but not quite as blatantly? Try a vampire fancy dress outfit.  Halloween wouldn’t be quite the same without a pack of vampires terrorising the neighbourhood.  Go for a classic Lady Vampire costume, sexy vampire vixen or a gothic men’s Halloween costume including velvet vest and lined cape. Add some vampire teeth and fake blood if you want to add some gore!

You have to decide - a Harry Potter or a Zombie?  The Wizard outfit is a safe bet when you’re trick or treating with small children but bloodthirsty costumes are excellent for an adult themed Halloween fancy dress party.  Choose wisely!
