This is owing to the fact that as cream is very heavy it eclipses the flavor of tea. Some people choose to provide first milk in the cup. Nevertheless it is preferable to provide tea first in the cup and then pour milk in it, so as to have right proportion.
At the time of having tea made from a teabag, take it out from the cup and place it in a wash bowl or on a side saucer. You should not utilize the string to compress the teabag.
When you want to offer lemon with tea, give it if possible in slices rather than wedges. You can either offer a small fork or a lemon fork or can arrange a tea server, who will place a slice smartly in the saucer after he or she gives the tea in the cup. If you are giving lemon together with tea, milk should not be presented, because milk will be curdled by lemon.
