4 things a Prateik fan should know about their favorite actor:
1.    Prateik’s personality:
We all know about the unusual facet of Prateik’s character. However, he confesses that he gets this mad streak from none other than ad guru Prahlad Kakkar with whom he had worked as a production assistant.  
Prateik loves working out and saying being fit gives him a high. As a matter of fact, he wanted to be a cricketer when he was a kid.

2.    His favorite music:

Prateik LOVES rock music and rock and all. As a matter of fact, he completely hero worships Bob Marley., Jim Morison, Bruce Springsteen and even AC/DC. What’s more, he hopes to become a rock star himself one day in his life.
Trivia: As much as Prateik loves music and is a great fan, he does not even own an I-pod for himself.

3.    ‘Jaane tu ya jaane na’ and Prateik:
The long hair look that Prateik had adorned for this movie was as a tribute to one of his idols: Bob Marley. Also, he wore his own clothes for the film. Keeping it real for the film was not a very difficult for Prateik because, like his aunt Anita Patil says, the character of Amit in the movie was almost an extension of Prateik’s own real life character.

4.    Prateik hardworking actor:
Prateik, it is a known fact, is a very dedicated actor. We can clearly tell that because he washed clothes for 5 whole hours when working on the movie Dhobhi Ghat to get it right. He says, ‘“Publicity doesn’t matter. I think the hard work you put in, your performance matters.”
