When it comes to making more money in your business, it's more of a mind game than it is a financial or marketing game. While these play a role, of course, they are secondary compared to your beliefs about making money.

When it comes to making more money in your business, it's more of a mind game than it is a financial or marketing game. While these play a role, of course, they are secondary compared to your beliefs about making money.
If you plan on taking your business to the next level you have to get rid of your old, limiting beliefs about poverty; and you have to bring in new, limitless beliefs about abundance.
Here are 2 old, limiting beliefs to eliminate and how to transform them into new, limitless beliefs to take your business up a notch:
1. I have to have money to make money
While it's true that having money certainly makes it easier to make more money, this belief is slowing you down.
You see, you don't have to have money to make money. You just have to think outside the box (forgive the cliché). Instead of letting this belief take money out of your pocket, change your belief to: I'll find a way to make more money...no matter what!
An example to prove my point:
If you don't have any money to market to your target market - but have a product that target market needs - hook up with a JV partner (Joint Venture) and use their marketing efforts to make you money.
The JV partner can send out information to their database about your product (as a resource to their customers/patients/clients) and you can split the profits 50/50.
Sure, you're giving away 50% of your money, but you wouldn't have received that money if it weren't for your JV partner. They supplied the 'list' (which is much more valuable) and you supplied the product. A win-win situation!
And it didn't cost you a dime in marketing dollars. Told you you didn't have to have money to make money. Now, eliminate that belief from your noggin and get moving!
(NOTE: There are many other ways to make more money without spending any...just start brainstorming and I'm sure you'll figure it out.)
2. I have competition and they are after MY customers/patients/clients
A lot of entrepreneurs are frightened their competition is going to ruin them. Well, with this belief, they're right. They're right - not because of their competition - but because they are always playing on the defensive side of the ball. You can't win that way.
Instead, you have to ask yourself: Do I really have competition?
And I'm here to tell you, if you set yourself apart in a unique way with a target market, you don't. Here's an example of what I'm talking about:
Let's say you sell pizza - a commodity business, right? Wrong.
Most pizza shops think so. But, in Vancouver, Canada, there is a young lady selling gourmet pizza...not just pizza. She sells it to an affluent market and they pay her 3 times as much for the gourmet pizza.
Her 'competition' (4 other pizza businesses in a 10 mile radius) is selling pizza for $8-12 a pie. She sells her gourmet pizza for $25-35 a pie. Talk about smart! She doesn't have competition. She's created her own market for pizza and she charges what she wants.
She has the belief...what about you?
Instead of playing defensively with your business, change your mindset and start playing a little offense. This new belief will help you achieve more this year than in the previous 5 years.
Your beliefs hold you back or move you forward. Eliminate the ones that hold you back and create the ones that move you forward. As the saying goes, "out with the old and in with the new"!
Renew Your Office to Spring into Action
Spring begins this Friday (March 20th) and it's that time of year again - Spring Cleaning. Or as I like to call it Springing into Action. As an entrepreneur, you have a lot on your plate and even more on your desk. The beginning of Spring is the perfect time to organize your office, so you can spring into action this season. Here's how you can get organized and save time this Spring. The Secret to Grabbing Your Prospects Attention
I'm not going to beat around the bush...the secret to grabbing your prospects attention is the use of a headline. Most entrepreneurs, marketers, and advertisers miss this! They think their prospects are somehow going to gravitate toward their ad or marketing message by way of 'the force'. Pfui. You must have a headline to grab attention! There is no other way.Eliminating Business Stress
In business, a lot of stress comes from worry. Will THIS get done? Will THAT get done? What if I don't know? What if I don't have enough time? The list goes on and on. But one question that is rarely asked is: do I really have to worry about this or that?
