Arsenal & Chelsea – Two English football clubs that are part of the English Premier League
Arsenal Football Club is an English professional football club based in Holloway, North London. They play in the Premier League and are one of the most successful clubs in English football. They have won thirteen premier league titles and ten FA cups.
Arsenal FC was set up in 1886. They won their first major trophies in the 1930s, with five League Championship titles and two FA Cups. They became the second club of the 20th century to win the doubles in 1970-71. For the last twenty years, they have been one of the most successful clubs in English football.
Chelsea is another English professional football club based in west London, founded in 1905. They have spent most of their history in the top tier of English football. Chelsea has won three league titles, four FA cups, four League Cups and two UEFA Winners' Cups.
Strategies of Arsenal FC and Chelsea FC:
A large part of the Arsenal game includes tripping, feigning injury, shirt pulling, unsettling and rhythm-braking game. Arsenal is famous for its spoilt game in English football. They have serious bad disciplinary record and an infantile attitude if they lost.
The real problem with Chelsea is the lack of power and strength in defending. Chelsea Football Club has great players. That is why their game is more entertaining for the neutral public than a proper defense in the game. Football is about winning game. It is the top priority of clubs such as Chelsea to win them all the time.
Records of Arsenal FC and Chelsea FC:
Currently, Arsenal FC is just ahead of Chelsea Football Club by few points in Barclays Premier League of 2007-08 seasons with Manchester United FC on top. Chelsea has won the League Cup on three occasions in 1965, 1998 and 2005 whereas Arsenal has won it twice in 1987 and 1993.
Chelsea's 5-0 remains the biggest win against Arsenal at Highbury in November 1998. However, since that biggest defeat, Arsenal went 17 games unbeaten against Chelsea Football Club until the Champions League Quarter Final.
