Motorcycle Camping - What Gears to Bring

Going on a motorcycle camping leaves you less room to pack your gears and equipment.  It’s like going on a hike.  Gears should always be small, light and can be packed as compact as possible. This will prevent the equipments to come loose or distract the rider. By quality camping gears that can be easily set up at night and tear down in the morning. For tents, bring a lightweight one or two person tent with waterproof floor and inflatable plastic mattress. It occupies small space. Choose food items which are dehydrated and put in plastic bags to hold food which are less bulky than rigid plastic containers. You can also buy food and water on a daily basis to save space and to have fresh foods. For cleaning purposes, just bring a small bottle of liquid dishwashing detergent.

Another thing, don’t forget to bring a first aid kit. Make room for this item whether there is a limited space, it could save campers under extreme and unexpected conditions. Other considerations include; a tarp for shade or as floor protector of the tent, change of clothes, motorcycle tool kit with multi-tool, tire plug kit and pump. Just bring the right gear and no extra baggage that is not actually needed but will add only weight and bulk. Choose gears wisely and buy only items that will fit comfortably on your motorcycle.
