The HTC Sensation is the manufacturer’s latest flagship smartphone. As you would expect, it offers some of the most advanced technology at HTC’s disposal. In this article I will take a look at some of the premium technology included in this handset, and how it benefits the user.

Screen

Aside from the likes of the iPhone 4,A Closer Look At The Premium Attributes Of The Powerful HTC Sensation Articles the HTC Sensation has one of the highest pixel resolutions on a mobile phone at 540x 960. This makes it perfect for multimedia use. This includes playing games, watching videos or viewing photos, and it is equally at home browsing the web. Of course its functionality as a touchscreen is also outstanding. At 4.3 inches it is easy to use and very responsive, thanks to the dual-core processor under the hood providing all the power the S-LCD capacitive touchscreen needs.

Processor

The HTC Sensation is one of the first smartphones to feature a dual-core processor, and this brings many advantages to the phone. As mentioned, it allows the touchscreen to operate quickly, but it also means that applications and other software items load instantly and operate smoothly. Additionally, web browsing benefits from this extra power with faster loading times of web pages. Another major advantage of having a dual-core processor is that it allows users to multitask more efficiently. The HTC Sensation is the perfect phone for the multi tasker as the processor is able to distribute power efficiently to all open applications, which also helps with battery life.

Camera

The HTC Sensation sports and 8 megapixel camera with a resolution of 3264x 2448 pixels, which is only beaten by a small number of handsets such as the Nokia N8 with its 12 megapixel unit. The camera has an array of built in features which allow user to adjust various setting to get the desired results. Also included are autofocus, image stabilisation and face detection. Features like these work behind the scenes to make it easy to take pictures as you want them, helping them come out properly first time. As you may expect of a phone of this calibre, the camera can also shoot video footage and this is in superb 1080p quality (high definition), which blows many rival handsets out of the water with their 720p or lower video quality. There is a secondary camera located on the front of the handset and this can be used to take self portrait photos and carry out video calls or even used as a mirror. This camera operates at VGA quality.

Obviously this article only highlights a small number of the features offered by the HTC Sensation. But hopefully it has given you a sense of the premium technology it offers, making it worth a closer look when choosing your next smartphone. In fact in my opinion it is joined with the Samsung Galaxy S2 as the best smartphone on the market at the time of writing.
