Beats by Dr Dre Headphones and the Liar Effect.

I new about a person who loved their Beats by Dr Dre headphones so much they lied to get another pair.  No joke, true story!  We will call this person guy number one.This person carried them everywhere. He took them to the gym to workout or when he went to get groceries you would see him pushing his grocery cart and wearing those Beats by Dr Dre headphones.  And if he wasn’t wearing them you knew he had them nearby, either in the car or in a bag he was carrying.  I think if movies theaters were like airplanes with a little hole in the arm rest for headphones he would probably watch the movie with his Beats by Dr Dre headphones instead of hearing it through the surround sound in the theater.  Anyways point is he was obsessed with them.So, I can’t for the life of me understand why he would let someone borrow them, but he did.  His best friend, who we will call guy number two, was going away for a short weekend getaway and had no headphones for his iPhone/iPod.  So he asked his best friend at the time, guy number one,  if he could borrow the Beats by Dr Dre headphones, so he could listen to music to help pass the time faster while he was flying hours in an airplane.Now before guy number one lent out his headphones he was experiencing some problems with the Beats by Dr Dre headphones but he didn’t tell his friend, guy number two,  about it when he lent them out. Guy number one knew that the headphones would probably not work when guy number to returned with them after his vacation.  This is probably why he lent them out to begin with.  Anyways, sure enough when guy number two returned from his trip the Beats by Dr Dre headphones has quit working.  Obviously, he felt very bad about the situation.  Recognizing guy numbers two’s grief, guy number one was quick to take advantage of the situation and told his friend that he broke them and that he should buy him a new pair. He lied and said the headphones were working fine when they were lent out even though they weren’t.  Some friend!  So guy number one received a brand spankin new pair of $400 Beats by Dr Dre headphones.So is there any truth to this story that we can learn?  Here is the lesson of this story.  The Bible says you reap what you sow.  I knew a guy in high school who stole thousands of dollars worth of stuff and never got caught.  One of these items was even mine.  He stole these items over a 7 or 8 year period.  Interestingly enough I found out later on he ended up getting in a car wreck and losing his leg. I am not saying the stealing and the leg losing are connected, but the principal taught in the Bible is you reap what you sow.  You wrong someone expect it to come back to you later on in life.
