Cut The Cable And Step Into The Future With Satellite TV

It seems that the future is here with satellite TV programming. Who would have dreamed only a few decades ago, that we would be able to receive our TV programming from a vehicle rotating around our planet, out in space. At the time that the first broadcasting satellite was shot up into orbit, the only alternative to the monotony of standard television programming, was cable service.

They were the only show in town and they new it, so they dug a trench in every street in America and dug up every ones yard, to run their cables and took advantage of utility easement rights to stick a big ugly junction box in the front yard of every sixth house in some neighborhoods and then had the gall to charge their hapless customers for connecting them up to their over priced and under channeled service.

Cable companies ran up a dismal record on customer service over the years they trampled on their customers. Where were people to turn to? Some folks got a VCR and spent their time watching movies that they rented at the video store and indured the late fees and the rotten service that they got there, but at least they weren't connected by a leash that the cable companies had ran into everyones home.

The first people to take note of the advent of satellite service were the cable companies, because they knew that their customers were unhappy and now they had somewhere else to go for their programming service. The cable companies have done an OK job of cleaning up their acts, but its a matter of too little, too late because the truth of the matter, is that cable companies can't compete with what the top two satellite service providers in the U.S. have to offer their customers.

Direct TV and Dish Network both treat their customers with respect and dignity. They don't dig up their yards and streets, when they install their equipment that they give to each and every new customer that joins their family of viewers. They don't charge a penny for connecting up to four rooms to satellite TV service. When you sign up for their satellite TV service, you have the choice of far more channels than cable service and its a much better bargain.

Satellite TV programming is the future of TV viewing and cable service is the past. Right now Dish Network has a new mobile satellite TV service, that allows people in a moving vehicle such as a motor home or a commercial truck to receive satellite TV programming, while they are traveling down the road. Can cable do that? It would take an awful long cable and it would all have to be rolled back up, when they drove back the other way. There is more yet to come from satellite service providers.

They already provide more channels in digital and high definition format. Cable companies will send you programming in digital format only if you pay them extra it, while satellite service providers send all their signals to all their viewers in digital format and they wouldn't dream of charging for it. Lets face it. Cable service was rendered obsolete the day the first broadcasting satellite was shot into orbit. So cut the cable that holds you back from what the future holds for you in satellite TV programming. You owe it to yourself.
