Fujifilm FinePix F550EXR Reviewed
Fujifilm FinePix F550EXR Review; The Fujifilm FinePix F550 EXR is without a doubt one of the most outstanding cameras to have been produced in recent years. Whether you are a professional photographer or amateur then this camera will give you everything you want.
If you are serious about taking high quality digital photos then you need to make sure that you get the best camera to take them with. Shop assistants will regularly tell you that every camera you are interested in is good but the more expensive ones are better. This is,
of course, not always the case.
The Fujifilm FinePix F550 EXR is a new 16 megapixel compact camera and is the successor to the F300. If you have seen the F300 then you are going to be very familiar with the design of this camera, for the simple reason that it looks exactly the same. There is of course good reason for this, the last design worked perfectly so why change it!
This Fujifilm camera looks so much better than the ugly box that most cameras look like. It has rounded curves and it looks like the high quality lens is about to burst out of it at any moment. The fact that the lens is safely tucked away when it is not in use makes it extremely easy to carry, you can just slip it into your pocket.
There is a very useful rubber grip on the side of the camera so that holding it steady is as easy as breathing. First and foremost this camera is designed to be a point and shoot that gives the same quality as a DSLR camera. With this in mind there has been a lot of upgrading to the auto-focus which can now get any image into focus in just 0.16 seconds!
New features include a 360 degree motion panorama setting, face detection and recognition (even including dogs and cats), DSLR style background blurring, intelligent flash and a gyro image stabilizer to make sure that you take the perfect photos.
The problem that a lot of point and shoot cameras have is when your hand shakes trying to take a zoomed in picture. This has been taken care of in the Fujifilm FinePix F550 EXR. The image stabilizer is both mechanical and digitatl and the high ISO with virtually eliminate any unwanted shakes.
Another feature unique to this model is the ability to record videos. This is thoughtfully done using a separate button and so the annoying problem of recording film when you wanted to take a photo is prevented. You will need to change the movie settings in the main menu but unusually you can use the zoom feature when recording.
Offering you full 1080 HD quality video recordings really makes this camera stand out. If you want to delve into the various settings such as ISO, white contrast and others then you can get stuck in. This is not a camera that restricts you to point and click if you don't want it. Although with it producing such superb pictures automatically I wouldn't see why you would want to change any settings!
The Fujifilm FinePix F550 EXR is without a doubt one of the most outstanding cameras to have been produced in recent years. Whether you are a professional photographer or amateur then this camera will give you everything you want.
