HTC Sensation XE - The latest Sensation from HTC!

The Taiwanese mobile phone manufacturer, HTC has come out with a number of high-end smartphones that have done well in the market. The company came out with HTC Sensation in May this year and now it has announced HTC Sensation XE which promises number of advanced features. The retailers are lining up the HTC Sensation XE Deals on their portals. How this handset does when compared to the popular Samsung Galaxy S2? Will it be the handset that breaks the domination of Samsung’s device in the market or will it just be a flash in the pan? Looking at the features, the device from HTC does promises to be a serious contender for the top spot in the smartphones segment. Let’s compare the two devices and try to find out where they stand.1) If we compare them on the build-quality, HTC Sensation XE may just have an edge. No doubt, one that Samsung device is one of the best in terms of looks and dimensions, but the HTC phone is no less. Its build-quality is simply superb. The handset seems quite capable of taking a fall or two without any serious damage. In terms of looks, it’s difficult to choose between the two as both have their own charm.2) As far as the software is concerned, both the devices run on the latest version of Android OS. The next version of Android, Ice cream Sandwich is not out yet and thus the latest HTC phone comes with (Gingerbread) version. Running on the latest version means that both the devices have access to all the apps and the features of the Android market.3) Comparing the two on the processor, both the devices are powerful. While the Samsung device runs on 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, the HTC phone has a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor. Thus HTC has gone ahead as far as the power is concerned. However, the RAM of HTC device is 768 MB which is lesser than that of Samsung’s 1GB RAM.4) Both the devices have the 8 mega pixel camera and are very much equal on that front. However, the Samsung phone has a 2 mega pixel secondary camera compared to the VGA camera of the latest HTC device.Looking at the above comparisons, it is very much visible that HTC Sensation XE is a strong competitor for Galaxy S2. The price will be an important factor and a lot will depend on the HTC Sensation XE deals.
