Just chatter or really the mini thing is up??

Rumors are such that Apple will be coming up with iPhone 6 mini with the same 4 inch screen. It is being said that this phone will be launched this year only, although Apple has not confirmed anything so far. Seemingly Apple mobile phones are now trying to come with every possible device so that it can gather the user ship for all types.  Here are some pointers which will show is really this mini thing coming up or it’s just a chatter to build some publicity for Apple.

• Reports from Fool suggest that Apple wants to come with iPhone 6 mini for those who can’t afford the big budget iPhone 6
• iPhone 6 mini will appeal to those who already had iPhone 5S and 5C and want to change for better can certainly have the iPhone 6 mini
• It will come up with an inexpensive price tag and will have the main focus for China and India smartphone market
• It will be a pocket friendly smartphone and people can work single handedly on it
• It will build market for Apple, users who can’t get iPhone 6 or 6 Plus can have a feel of the same with a less price tag.

This may be the good strategies of Apple to gain a good market as their earlier shares in the market are not good. There have been more speculations about a newly launched iPhone 7 but nothing has been made sure from Apple’s side.

For Apple if they get the user ship of those who don’t have an iPhone but wants to work one will be a great success. Coming up with a lower cost phone will certainly increase the potential market for Apple.

For a brand like Apple coming up with a low cost mobile phone will be a great challenge in itself. Continuing with the flagship model can be a good strategy, as iPhone 5c has been a great success, and iPhone 6 mini can be a cheaper model and will be a hit. If we see the analytics then Apple in the year 2014 have sold over 24 million iPhone 5c models and even topped the UK smartphones sales charts.  According to Kantar Worldpanel ComTech: "The iPhone 5c was the bestselling phone in Britain in August with 8.9% share, outselling the flagship iPhone 5s with 7.6% and the Samsung Galaxy S5 with 6.0%."

Although with all this enthusiasm Apple is showing this can probably an old move. Backtracking or getting a downsize would be getting off from their own words after getting the big screeniPhone 6 Plus.

This can prove to be an embarrassment or can be the luck charm for Apple, let’s wait and watch until any news gets confirmed but surely it’s going to be tough for Apple this year.
