“Grolly’s animal adventures” combines a story, graphics, multiple animated touch features and a learning effect in a new way. The plot of the game is simple – Emma is an 8 year old little girl who loves to discover the world in her dreams. Accompany Emma and her cuddly monster Grolly and explore the jungle in Vietnam, the ruins in Cambodia and the Bamboo fields of China. Learn about pandas, tigers, leopards, monkeys and many more wild animals and their habits. Every animal can be touched and will be animated. No matter if it’s a panda, monkey or leopard – all the animals react with an appropriate sound and animation, but also have a few surprises in store.
“In this way “Grolly’s animal adventure” combines fun and learning in one, the app is a detailed encyclopaedia with information on every animal and plant”, – explains Mihaela Schmidt. “More than 25 animals and 50 animations in every chapter. Grolly’s animal adventures turn children into animal experts.”
The developers explain high popularity of the game not only by its felicitous combination of fun and learning, but also by the right directions – easy to use interactive picture book, mobile experience for the whole family.
“We have spent round about 6 Months for the project,” – tells Mihaela. “We felt that too many existing apps resemble normal books and set ourselves the goal of developing and new app, which moves away from the conventional and utilizes the advantages of an iPad perfectly. Our aim is become “kid’s first point of contact to the digital world”. It is a great responsibility as well as a fantastic opportunity to shape this exciting world”.
