The Most Influential Light Bulbs

A lot of people don't realize that there have been a few types of light bulbs that have really been beneficial for a lot of people. They have created a nice source of light and people have really enjoyed them. I think people should be a little more thankful for the light bulbs that we have gone through over the years because they have made a meaningful impact on the world.

Incandescent: This was basically the very first bulb that was ever created and it was done by Edison. It is actually quite a simple design of running electricity through a small piece of metal that gets hot. It is by far the cheapest light bulb that was ever produced and it probably is the light that has been used the longest.

Halogen: This is another type of light that has had a short period of being used. The reason that it got so popular is that it created white light, instead of the yellow light that you get from incandescent. There are still people today that try to track down halogen lights because they just like the look of the white light.

LED: This type of light is new and it's going to be big in the future because of how little electricity it uses. It produces a decent amount of light and lasts very long. They're going to create very interesting things with this type of technology in the next few years. As the technology improves, you're going to find that more and more people will be using it in their home.
