HTC introduced the world to the 4.3 inch mobile display with excellent models such as the Desire HD and the HD7.  The launch of their latest offering,The New HTC Sensation Lives Up To Its Name Articles the Sensation, sees yet another large screen join the ranks, but how does this exciting new model differ from what went before it.Internally, the specification of this new model not only eclipse the other mentioned phones, but also every other phone on the market place.  The main reason behind this is down to HTC including a high speed processor that not only impresses with its size at 1.2Ghz, but also sports dual cores which hold a number of benefits for the user.  Multi tasking is nothing new on mobile phones, but the system receives a welcome boost with this new chipset as the two separate cores can perform entirely different tasks without affecting one another.  The result of this is when using the phone, even with multiple applications running, you should not experience any lag as the processor is never being overworked.  This is especially important with models such as this as features such as the large display and the HD video capture all place more and more strain on the processor.  Compared to the other two models we mentioned earlier the processor offers an improvement in not only the dual core properties but also size as the older handsets offered just 1GHz, which although ample for the average phone user is still less than can be found on this new flag ship model. One area that has remained the same on the HTC Sensation is screen size which sticks with the tried and tested 4.3 inch size, which in fairness is a sensible option given that this is realistically the biggest screen a mobile handset can get away with, any bigger and you do step into the realms of the tablet market.  Despite size staying the same, almost every other aspect of the screen has changed however.  We have seen resolution receive a welcome boost to 960 x 540 from 800 x 480.  This pushes the display alongside the likes of Apples hallowed iPhone 4 and its renowned Retina display.  A new contour screen has also been used, which although adding no huge technical benefits, does boost the phones ergonomics as it not only provides a more comfortable typing experience but also is more natural against your cheek whilst using the phone. The HTC Sensation has taken large screen mobile phones to a new level, and has rightly become the brands flagship model.  A blend of style and technology really does put this handset at the top of the smartphone tree. The HTC Sensation and the Motorola Bravo are coming soon.
