Video Server is a computer based solution of digital video surveillance, delivering analogical video image to any PC within a computer network, to monitor mobile cameras (section, tilt, zoom lens), to record all cameras systematically and to display these recording in a convivial way from a made commonplace PC.
IP Video Surveillance
IP is the abbreviation of Internet Protocol, transmitting video image by utilizing open internet protocols and standards for the purpose of recording and monitoring.
An application of video surveillance on IP creates pack of digitized video data which are transferred on a network using wired or wireless IP. Network Camera
Not to be confused with Web Cam, a network camera is a camera which is directly connected to network (and not in a PC).
The network camera links optic functions of a camera and the capacity of a small computer equipped with an internal Web server. A network camera has a computer network connection of RJ45 for direct switch connection.
This camera broadcasts its pictures in every post which makes it request via a navigator on Internet network.
The IP camera has been designed to transmit visual pictures on the Web without the need of using a computer. The camera IP is therefore considered to be autonomous.
Camera Server
A camera server contains all server particularity of a network camera but does not have integrated camera.
It is necessary to add an analogical video camera to the server of classical surveillance camera. The combination of server camera and analogical video camera is identical to a network camera. A camera server includes therefore a computer network using RJ45 connection and one or several coaxial connectors to link analogical cameras of the network.
When to use a network camera or a server camera?
The network cameras are the new standard of the video surveillance or the animation of Websites. They considerably give you the possibility to alleviate the expenses of installation and wiring. The cameras server allows to recover the existing installations and to make them accessible to the network of subscribers.

How to record all the images of all the cameras?
The system offers you a recording server« plug and play » which is enough to connect up on computer network and to automatically record all IP cameras and analogical cameras (across the cameras server). All this recording is stocked in hard disk (size of which must be proportional to the number of existing cameras and to the number of days which is required to record: 1 week, 1 month…)
How to visualize the recording
The system also offers you as part of this resolution; numerical recording, a visualization recording software. (without stopping them).
