When we say that something should be neat and clean then all of a sudden this thought strikes us that it’s common sense that everything that we do or handle should be neat and clean. Even we create a web design to establish our presence,The Importance of Neatness and Cleanliness in Web Design Articles if someone comes to us and says that it should be clean then we will simply reply that yes we know that and it’s common sense. Plus, why would a business owner or designer want to create a messy or cluttered design? Well, no one wants that, but it happens unintentionally where we think that we are creating a neat and clean design, whereas we end up creating a really messy design.

So, what we need to do is to differentiate that what a neat design is and what a messy design is. Only then we can discover and conclude if a particular design is clean and professional or not. See, the reason why we should draw a line here is that a web design that one may consider neat and clean may not necessarily be considered as neat by you. It might look all messy to you as though you are in a fish market or in a really crowded place whereas the other person will insist that it’s a decent design.

Let’s think of a giant store for a minute. What if you are looking for some cereals of a specific brand, but that aisle with cereals is not properly organized. There are all sorts of brand all over the place. They are not properly organized with brand names. Would you visit that store again and go through all the boxes to find your desired company? It will get worse if you are unable to find it because the store is either out of it or don’t even keep it.

Now, let’s take another example. In the example given above, you had at least managed to find the correct aisle, but what if you are unable to find the aisle with cereals to begin with? Will you go through dozens of aisles to see which one has the product you need? How much time will you waste? Won’t you think that the store should make your life easier by properly organizing everything? Yes, of course you will get irritated and the chances are that you won’t visit ever again. But… the thing is that you can ask a sales rep there to help you.

Yes, you can ask someone there, but if the situation is somewhat similar on your website, who will your visitors ask? There won’t be anyone on your website to guide them immediately. Even if you have Live Chat, people will hesitate to talk if they will think that you are site is way too crowded and not organized properly. See, your web design is your store and it has to look neat and clean and all the categories and products should be properly organized.

Otherwise your visitors will get annoyed and leave your website immediately just as you’d leave that store immediately.
