Contrary to conventional understanding, self defense lessons should very little time discussing crime prevention. All that is common knowledge and you’ve probably already heard it before anyway. Fact is, there are plenty of resources available for that type of information, if you need it. You should contact your local police department and I'm sure they can provide you with an excellent brochure on the subject. You see, crime prevention and self defense are NOT the same issue. The fact is that no matter how much you try to avoid trouble, trouble can still find you. Practical self defense lessons must be founded on the assumption that you’ve already tried everything you know how to do to avert an unwanted encounter. It's a major clue that they don't really know self defense, when they attempt to fill the program with unrelated material. Unfortunately, most folks don't realize the fraud.You must learn how to deal with confrontations quickly, intelligently and with complete assurance in your power to protect yourself. Useful self defense lessons will teach you highly successful skills that have been proven to work in many different scenarios.
