Spraying equipment, known as coating equipment, is used for metal and nonmetal surface protective layer or decorative layer. It is the process of coating a surface in which a powder material is applied using an electrostatic or compressed air method, or sometimes a fluidized bed.
In accordance with the degree of automation, the spraying equipment on market can be divided into: manual spraying equipment, semi-automatic and full automatic coating equipment;

Generally, coating line is divided into two types. One is spray-painting line and the other is powder coating line. Main equipment of painting line includes pretreatment equipment, oven drying line, water-shower cabinet, air-supplying system, air purifying system, dust-free painting room,etc.
The structure of powder coating line is closely related to the coating process which has several steps.
Cleaning step
You will begin with the cleaning step, that is abrasive blasting or chemical cleaning, to insure the substrate is free of any oils, dirt, rust, mill scale, etc; the substrate must be fully cleaned to avoid defects in the finish and rejects by the customers’ dissatisfaction.
Pretreatment step
At such step, the product is treated with a pretreatment chemical or conversion coating, usually phosphate or zinc based, to further protect it and improve the surface for powder adherence; and then rinse the product completely. What’s more, mask areas is done with high-temperature tape specially designed for powder coating, caps and plugs.
After doing so, you are ready to coat. First, choosing the right coating for your application and end use of the item is very important. A variety of powder formulations exists to choose from depending on the type item you will be coating. And then powder coat the parts, usually done with an electrostatic gun, corona or tribo, in a powder booth, but sometimes in a fluidized bed; finally, full cure the powder in the oven.
