The Birth of a New Touring Philosophy

It all started after a motorcycle tour that I took with my friend, Thoughtful Mark. The tour was decent—good routes, comfortable hotels, and efficient tour leaders. We arrived at our destinations on time, and the guides were attentive. Yet, something was missing. We realized that while we weren't unhappy, we hadn't smiled enough. This led us to think not about doing the tour better, but differently. Thus began our journey to create tours that emphasize having a good time while exploring fantastic sights.

Our Tours: A Blend of Adventure and Joy

The Grand Tour of Spain

Our flagship tour, the "Grand Tour of Spain," is a 10-day adventure that starts in Santander. While many choose to take the ferry from England, you can also travel through France or start from any other country. This flexibility is why ferry crossings are not included in the price.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Santander to Salamanca

   • Known as "The Golden City," Salamanca is our first stop. Expect plenty of refreshment breaks along the way.

2. Day 2: Salamanca to Merida

   • A visit to the Classic Motorcycle Museum is a highlight. We end the day in the Roman city of Merida.

3. Day 3: Merida to Seville

   • We take the old road to Seville, where we relax in the Andalusian capital.

4. Day 4: Seville to Lake Vinuela

   • Explore Malaga’s lake district and the spectacular El Chorro gorge. We unwind at Lake Vinuela.

5. Day 5: Lake Vinuela to Roquetas del Mar

   • Visit the caves at Nerja and enjoy coastal roads before ending the day in Roquetas del Mar.

6. Day 6: Roquetas del Mar to Requena

   • Pass through Europe’s only true desert and visit Mini Hollywood, the home of the Spaghetti Western.

7. Day 7: Requena to Cuenca

   • Travel through mountains and national parks, ending the day in Cuenca with its famous hanging houses.

8. Day 8: Cuenca to Logrono

   • More national parks and the Monasterio de Piedra are on the agenda. We finish the day in Logrono.

9. Day 9: Logrono to Santander

   • Ride through the La Rioja wine region on our way back to Santander.

The Spanish Heartland Tour

This seven-night tour is based near Soria and offers daily excursions to the surrounding mountains and countryside. We meet in Santander and head to our hotel, from where we explore:

• Zaragoza and Tudela: Cities rich in history and culture.
• Mountain Roads and Black Lagoon: Scenic routes and natural wonders.
• Medieval Village: A step back in time with a visit to a charming medieval village.
