In this drawing the three coordinate axes look equally foreshortened and the angles created between any two of them are 120 degrees. Once drawn following these parameters, the lines parallel to the three axes are at their true lengths.
Multi-view or Orthographic drawing
Orthographic drawings also represent three-dimensional object in two dimensions. But unlike isometric projection, here the three dimensions of an object are portrayed in three different views, each one displaying the object from one of three perpendicular planes.
Multi-view forms a type of orthographic drawing. The two types of multi-view are first-angle and third-angle. The front side of the object in both types are the same. The first-angle method is to draw the object sides based on where they land and the third-angle is drawing them based on where they are.
Dimensioning
This is a process of giving dimensions to an object in the most useful way while drawing its representation. It’s necessary to put as many dimensions as possible for proper understanding of the craftsman.

Three-dimensional representation referrers to a projection in which all the three dimensions of an object are visible.
Sectioning
In sectional drawings, unlike multi-view which shows only external images, internal sectional views are shown by imaginary levels cut through an object. It’s generally used to show cavities or spaces inside. The sectional views are used for objects in which the internal details are complex and would be very difficult to understand through the use of normal industrial drawings.
