BelAZ 75710 - The world’s strongest dumper
The BelAZ 75710 took the world record from Liebherr. And this, with a machinery of 450 tons!
When Liebherr was awarded the Guinness record for its mining truck T 282 B ten years ago,
nobody thought that one could build a dumper with a heavier payload than 360 tons. This record, however, has now been broken:
BelAZ has presented the 75710 dump truck with an incredible carrying capacity of 450 tons. Here are the most important facts about the monster truck for you.4600 HP - Engine and Hydraulic SystemThe new dumper is fitted with two 65 liter 16-cylinder diesel engines, each delivering 2300 hp. The overall strength of the dumper is thus 2600 hp! In order to provide the huge amount of diesel needed for these extraordinarily strong engines, the truck is equipped with two 2800 liter diesel tanks. The zero-load, maximal speed is 64 km/h. When it comes to the dumper’s hydraulics, a 3 in 1 system connects dumping, braking and steering operations.810 tons – Machine Weight and SizeThe weight of one tire of the new BelAZ 75710 is already 5800 kg. But only by considering the fact that this dump truck can transport up to 450 tons of rock, one can imagine how strong it actually is. By adding the truck’s empty weight of 360 tons, the maximum weight can thus reach up to 810 tons.Such a power package can - of course - not be overlooked: it is 20.6 m long, 8.16 m high and 9.87 m wide. It goes without mentioning that this dump truck is not suitable for the construction site “next door”.
