With technology advancing quickly, it's changing the way people consume content. Here's what you can do to adapt your business to this change.
There’s no doubt that a lot of things we do in our daily lives revolve around our smartphones. And I’m slowly starting to notice that more in my own life.
When I got my first smartphone back in 2015, I’d use it for small things like listening to music and looking up the weather.
Then it became my personal GPS.
Then it replaced my alarm clock.
To some people, it replaced their entire computer, and even made it their personal assistant with the help of voice commands.
It also became our taxi hailer.
Our food order-er.
Our morning newspaper.
Even our wallet.
Our smartphones are powerful nowadays. And the more it can help us in our daily lives, the more time we’re going to be spending on our phones.
Time is money. And if people are spending more time on their phones, then you should, like the saying goes,
“Go where the money is.”
Which means, taking your business mobile. But I’m not talking about making your website or emails mobile-friendly (which you should be doing anyways). I’m talking about having our own mobile app.
Over the last few months, an email copywriter whom I highly respect partnered with a software developer to create Learnistic.
I think this is a pretty cool software because it’s like the Wordpress of app development, meaning you can create your own app without having to work with any code.
It’s great if you need another way of sharing your content. Whether it’s text, audio, or video, you can easily upload them for your audience to use either for free, or for a price. So if you want to upload an entire e-course and sell it, you can!
Before I give you the link to their site, some warnings:
1. The software isn’t cheap and it’s not right for all businesses, especially if you have a tight budget.
2. I’m not a user, nor an affiliate, nor am I getting paid to share this with you. I’m just sharing it with businesses that can benefit from it, like yours, possibly.
