The Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (IEEM) is the U.K.'s premier governing body and trade membership organization for ecological consultants, with over 4,000 members of various grades. Full corporate Membership is seen as industry wide recognition of a person's education, competence and experience. Arbtech's ecological consultants are all encouraged to progress their professional career with the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management; keeping up to date with developments in our industry, through IEEM's access to continued professional development conferences, seminars and peer-reviewed journal papers.
The IEEM web site is a abundant source of quality information for professionals in industry, associated sectors and interested parties. There is a section called Directory of Members, which enables inquiries to choose an ecological consultant or surveyor, and get pragmatic guidance relating to protected species and ecological surveys and consultancy.
