Be aware of ‘leeches’ in your corporate. The phrase may appear very denigrating to the ‘leeches’. But certainly the truth is not intended to defame the leeches nor aimed at ridiculing the soft annelid.
The phrase is used specifically to describe about certain behavioural traits of leeches that are generally shared and exhibited by some employees in many corporate. Such traits are not that good for any corporate however good it may for the leeches.
Leeches in general love to live in water bodies that are very damp and unclean. They love to live by sucking the blood or the body fluid of small animals such as snail or turtle etc. Any conscious effort of transferring the animal from their unclean habitat to good quality water, the annelid (leeches) may die as they cannot live in good water. Another important thing about the ‘leeches’ is that they can grow big when food is available and would grow small when the same is not available. They can also live without food for long days as well.
When they collect the blood, they ensure that the process their blood collection neither produces pain nor allow the blood to clot so that they can easily draw as much blood as they want in the fluid form.
What meaning the leeches makes in corporate? There are employees who will have very serious attitude problems. The people with serious attitudinal problems can harm the harmony and peace of the organization.
They appear harmless and painless when they deplete the resource of the organization or corrode and necrotize the system. They get ballooned when someone praises them and become very redundant when such lavish praised are not offered like the growth and de-growth of leech when it takes the blood.
