There seems to be a question in the MLM business that has been brought up by some of the materials provided at training sites like Renegade Network marketer. Should one be doing recruiting or sponsoring and is there really a difference? So what separates recruiting from sponsoring in the network marketing world? Recruiting can be defined as someone seeking out people to join their particular company or opportunity. Yet,Renegade Network Marketer-Should You Be Recruiting Or Sponsoring Articles once the person has joined up with the company or opportunity, this new person usually gets trained by someone else or not at all. Practicing plain old recruiting in an MLM or network marketing business can possibly lead to a lot of people being brought into the business or opportunity, but none of those new people will be getting trained correctly. The difference between recruiting and sponsoring here is that different than recruiting, sponsoring means  spending time with a new business member and lending a hand to get the new business member up and running with the opportunity. You should realize that sponsoring will lead to better results and more success than recruiting. Even though the people who are in top positions for recruiting people are probably making a good amount of revenue, you can bet that there will be others in the same  company that don't bring in as many people, but still they make more revenue. These people know the difference between sponsoring and just recruiting and they use what they know to build their business. Using good sponsoring techniques means spending time with new team members and showing them the tools they need get their business started on the right foot. As well, using good sponsoring techniques means knowing the reasons why people have decided to join the business or downline and working closely with them to provide the solutions that will make their dreams become reality.Sponsoring also means having a game plan to help new team members start brining in revenue and prospects right away. If new team members start producing some revenue and prospects early in the process, that new team member is 10 times more likely to stick around and work even harder on their success. And last but certainly not least, sponsoring means knowing just how to plug a downline into a highly duplicable system of success strategies and pointing them toward more training that is simple enough for newbies to handle. Some people that are new to MLM or network marketing may not feel comfortable contacting prospects or leads or may not know how to use the internet for marketing. Sponsoring means knowing how to identify areas that someone may be struggling with and show the new team member ways to better themselves in these areas. Learning all you can about good sponsoring techniques and ways to help your downline improve their business can really pay off in the long run. As well, as an additional reward you can have the good feeling that comes from helping others.
