There are 3 main types of the doors which are selected for the exterior doors. These are called wooden doors, fiberglass doors and steel doors. Now which type is to be selected depends on the demand and the budget of the customer. So it is noted that all these types have some advantages and disadvantages. Wooden doors are the most popular doors as they are so decorative and have personalized options. These are considered as the traditional doors as people have been using it since a long period of time. On the other hand these are not strong enough to kick or hit a ball or heavy stone as the wood that is used on the outside of the door is a sheet of ply wood that is thin and is not too durable. These are the doors which are strong very secure and very energy efficient. it is a great option for you. These entire draw backs are not present in the fiber glass doors .ands these doors are 3 times stronger than the wooden doors. No body can identify that these doors are not made of wood. 3rd type is the steel doors. They look not so much decorative as we see in case of wood but they are very strong than the wood. These doors are most energy efficient doors as compared to the other types of doors. These doors are made especially for the areas those shave a harsh weather. Like hurricane and tornado. These doors are so tough that they show no affect against rain or snow. Another great benefit of steel doors is the option than you get the doors that are fire proof if UN fortunately your house catches fire and your doors are of wood then they will be the cause of increase of fire in your house but in case of steel doors you may save your house from a horrible disaster. A disadvantage of steel door that is told by the users is the indentation that they receive at once when something hit them or someone kicks the door. A dent may appear on your door.
