Improving our relationship with your customers must be one of the top goals in your business life. Customers are the life-blood of any company and without them your business has no chance to survive in today's market. Believe it or not building this relationship is not as difficult as you would think. Follow these 3 simple yet effective methods and you can easily...
It really does not matter if you are a business owner that is trying to improve your client relationship with your customers, or a copywriter that is trying to improve the relationships that you have built with your clients, you can bet that this can have a huge impact on your business and your life.
Our business and personal lives are governed by relationships, they are everything.
Loved ones… enterprises… friendships… almost everything.
Without a solid, trusting relationship youu shouldn't be working together. It is really that simple.
Unfortunately most people simply do not understand that you can change the quality of relationships, FAST.
And that’s what I’m going to reveal to you today.
So let’s get to it.
#1 - Excitement - Be genuinely excited when you talk to a customer on the phone, as questions such as how their business is doing, what their goals are, and what they expect from the project that they have offered me. etc. And when they give me the answers, I’m genuinely excited for them to reach those goals. Growing profits for the customer is not just about me. What it is really about his my client...and helping him to help his customers.
#2 - Promises: Here is a thought that my mentor shared with me not long ago. The fastest way to build trust in a relationship is to promise them something, and then deliver on it. Not only that, but remind them that you promised them what you just delivered.
Here’s an example.
Let’s say you get a new prospect and promise to send them 3 things (such as referrals, samples, etc.) by a 3 p.m. that very same day. You then do exactly hwat you promised and remind that that you sent them everything that you promised. Each and every time that you do something like this you are building a stronger connection with that person. And YES, the small things DO matter!
#3 Address Mistakes: Today most people refuse to believe that they could ever do anything wrong. There is ZERO accountability on them personally, but 100% on the shoulders of the other party. Here is a reality check for you. If your ego keeps you from admitting that you did something incorrectly at least a few times per week, you need to take a step back, get out a chair and whip, and put that ego back in it's cage. Taking personal responsibility is the mark of a genuinely amazing person. one that others want to be around.
There are literally dozens of methods to use to increase client relationships, but if you focus on these three you will find a huge difference in your present and future relationships.
Once you have mastered these three methods and want to lean more about becoming a very likable and respecetd person, try picking up a copy of How to Win Friends and Influence People. I’ve already read it 3x, and am planning to read it again this year as a refresher.
Are your relationships what you want them to be? There’s no shame in having bad or mediocre relationships now, as long as you’re willing to work on it.
