Can a cell in the biological system inspire the corporate and its leadership process?  The answer is certainly yes and absolutely the cells and the science of their division has lot to teach the corporate world about how they should develop a highly empowered and independently inter-dependent system in the organization.  The secret of leadership process,What nucleus of a cell tell to corporate? Articles the corporate can learn very well from cells.

Every ‘cell’ (except a few exceptions) divides and that is how a new ‘cell’ is formed.  The nucleus in the cell is only governing the process of ‘cell division’.  Prior to division of the cell, the nucleus in the cell divides into two.  During division, the nucleus makes a copy of the information stored in it and then it transfers the same onto the newly formed cells.  The newly formed ‘cells’ continue further division following the above principle/process.

The first formed cell completely empowers and delegates the next cell to divide further.  The secondly formed cell also does the same onto the next cell and the same process goes so on and so forth.

It is not just the division of the cells that plays the role in the replenishment of tissue or healing or growth and development, the transfer of the complete information during division of the nucleus only ensures the structural integrity and uniformity.

One of the cardinal principles of leadership development is delegation and empowerment.  During the process of leadership development, all the required support must be provided and extended to the people only then the required task can be achieved / accomplished.

It appears that the cellular system created by nature knows all the essential & different dimensions of leadership development.  But unfortunately, the corporate man is seems to be very ignorant of the above.

The corporate should learn the importance of leadership development from the principle of cell division.

While following the principle of cell division by the corporate in its leadership development process, it also must be aware of the error possibility.  When the cell fail to provide its complete information onto the next cell or if the nucleus get influenced by some external agents and get damaged (undergoes mutation due to various causes), the resulting cells will be cancerous or diseased/distorted.  Such diseased cells would eventually damage the entire system as a whole.

In the leadership development process, empowerment and delegation should be done in accordance with the law of integrity and transparency otherwise the leaders thus developed shall be cancerous to the system as a whole.  Cells consciously never allow any agent to influence them easily, but what about the corporate leaders?

A big a corporate has so much to learn from the tiny cells and if they learn well, they could do well with many wonderful leaders.
