What Skills Should A Qualified Art Teacher Have?

Can one become an art teacher easily? It is a general observation that money and time are of little to no significance if you have a lot of passion or drive towards your chosen profession as well as the required knowledge and skills to go forward. There are specialized art forms that can be learned via internship programs. They will be able to learn a lot of things from other well-qualified art teachers. They can also opt to volunteer to teach art classes in museums, hospitals or other similar institutions. It would also be a good idea to provide some free art sessions in collaboration with some art education organizations who serve the interests of poor but artistic students. You will definitely feel highly fulfilled and accomplished if you contribute in this manner. It's also something that you would definitely have fun doing. 
Volunteerism aside, disciplining students is also something you should know. Make sure the students are always doing or performing useful art and crafts. There must be enough scope to exhibit their creative ides in each project. It is normal for one state to have a different set of rules and regulations from another. Look into your own state's requirements for becoming an art teacher. Some states require certain certification courses to be completed before one can practice as an art teacher.
