There are several types of lighting devices that a WiFi controller can control. The most common one is dimmer switch with RF receiver inside, and a WiFi to RF converter that receives WiFi signal from the smart phone and convert it to RF signal which will be transmitted to the dimmer switch will be required, in addition, a wireless router that adds the smart phone to home network is necessary. Another type is dimmer controller with DMX512 interface, for this device, the smart phone will send WiFi signal to DMX master controller which is designed with built-in WiFi signal receiver, then the signal will be converted to DMX signal and transmitted to dimmer. Both types of device have to be paired with the WiFi LED controller, and it is easy to do by a learn key on the RF receiver or DMX master controller.
Different types of lamps can be compatible with the WiFi LED controller such as AC, DC constant voltage or DC constant current based on the output of lighting devices.
