SNAP 2016 Exam dates are out. The registration begins on 22 August 2016. Here are all the details regarding the application procedure and the exam.
Symbiosis National Aptitude Test is conducted by Symbiosis International University to select students for their MBA programs. There are 14 symbiosis universities that accept the score of SNAP as a pre requisite for the admission process.
This year, SNAP 2016 which is conducted to select students for the academic year 2017- 2019, will be conducted on 18th december, 2016. The registration for the exam will begin on 22 August 2016. Aspirants can register online and submit the scanned copy of the required documents. Once the documents have been submitted, candidates can then pay the registration fees to complete the process. The registration fees can be payed via online net banking or through cash payment at the bank. While paying the cash at the bank, make sure to get the challan stamped as the copy of the same has to be submitted to the authorities. One should also check the payment status on the official site to ensure that the payment has been made.
Admit Cards will be available on the official site of SNAP 2016 from 5th December, 2016 onwards. One has to download the admit card and carry it along with them in the exam hall. Candidates without the admit card will not be allowed to attempt the exam. One should also carry an identity proof having the persons photograph.
SNAP is a pen- paper based test and the omr sheet has to be filled with black ball point pen. The exam committee of SNAP said that they prefer the pen- paper based test more than that of the computer based test as in the pen paper based test the accuracy is more and one tends to make less mistake in the Data Interpretation (DI) section. They said that this year aswell, the mode of the paper will not be changed. There are four sections in the SNAP exam namely the General English, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, Verbal and Analytical Reasoning and General Awareness. The total time of the exam is 2 hours that is 120 minutes. There will not be any sectional boundation and one can begin with any section and even scroll in between the sections.
