As Starcraft 2 is becoming more and more popular amongst interested gamers, the questions about SC2 strategy guides keep popping up more frequently. Even in SC II beta I already noticed someone wrote a strategy guide and I was interested to see what was in it. I immediately bought myself a copy of the guide and fortunately I picked up a good one. In the meantime it was updated and this time with a great new chapter explaining how to adapt to your opponents play style and improvise in the middle of the match. Needless to say I quickly tried it in practice and again it worked. I wasn't winning every game of course, but I kept a fairly high win rate and was consistently dominating higher ranked players.

Starcraft 2 strategy guides may not be necessary for you if you like to constantly read forums and blogs in search for information, but for those who are looking for a quicker way to learn to play guides are definitely a great option. They show you excellent and well thought out strategies, unit and building build orders, and generic tips which are invaluable and some take even months to figure out on your own. In addition, all the guides I found come with videos and replays so you can actually watch what you read as well which makes it a lot easier to learn. In conclusion, there are a lot of benefits of using Starcraft 2 strategy guides and I highly recommend you use their wisdom.
