There is always good idea to keep your ERP system and computer network on the newest versions, but we respect the decision to freeze IT budget and maintain the old version of Great Plains.  In this small publication we would like to come through Dynamics GP support highlights:

2.       Great Plains old version support options.  Here you need to be sure that your chosen Dynamics GP Partner carries consultants and programmers, who are trained to support old versions.  The problem for you might lay in the fact, that some traditional Dynamics GP Resellers are making their money on new Dynamics GP software licenses sale.  In this scenario they simply don’t need to retain old version Dynamics GP Guru

3.       Dynamics GP Reporting and Customization.  Great Plains reports are traditionally designed in GP Report Writer, Dexterity, Crystal Reports, SSRS, Microsoft Access, Excel.  Customizations are traditionally coded in Great Plains Dexterity, eConnect and SQL Stored Procedures
