Burnout, on the other hand, is being unproductive for a stretched period of time compared to creative block and your desired remedy is to run away or have a moment alone.

You may not be aware that preventing burnups is easy. You just have to take a break, release tension and stress, eat properly and enjoy life to bring back your creativity and imagination. Our body and mind is like a machine, when it is already drained, it has to take in fuel plus a moment of rest, and afterwards it can function well again.

Here are some helpful tips. Follow these to keep the burnups away…

1. Set small breaks. Take your coffee breaks. Walk around your office. This will help you prevent fatigue and stress. It can also refresh your mind.

2. Have a healthy lifestyle. You can’t think and act well when you’re starving, so eat a balanced diet and fill you body with stamina to keep you going. In addition, exercise or indulge in sports to keep your body sound and healthy.

3. Be inspired. Watch a movie, listen to inspirational songs, visit a museum, read a favorite book, enjoy a stage play or a concert, learn a new hobby, enjoy your loved one’s company… There are a lot of things that can give you inspiration, all you have to do is discover it and seize every opportunity.

4. Take a vacation. Go to the beach. Hike. Pamper yourself in a spa or beauty salon. Visit a historical site. Have fun with nature. By this we can recharge our creative side and widen our thoughts even more. Experiences make us stronger and wiser so welcome every experience in your life.

5. Learn to meditate. Everyday, we need a little time alone to contemplate on our life – what we want, what we need and how to get it… Sometimes a silence to soothe your mind is indispensable. Try yoga and other stuff to appease you.

6. Try to get some help. If the loads are too heavy then ask for help. You can outsource if you need to.

Life’s little events may often cause stress, anxiety, depression, blues and burnups. Good thing is we can overcome it all!
