Internal Bay for the Optical Drive – Laptops that come with an internal bay for an optical drive are bigger and heavier, but it this feature really comes in handy because it will let you swap in other devices, such as an extra hard drive or a second battery.

Keyboard – Since laptops are fairly small, the keyboard inevitably is smaller than a full size computer will have. When you are working at home or in an office you can always hook up a regular keyboard, and one that is wireless for even more comfort and mobility.

Screen Size - The screen size dimension of laptops is measured diagonally across the screen. It’s never a good idea to sacrifice viewing comfort for portability, while larger screen laptops weight more, they do make for a better visual experience, whether working or watching moves. Screens larger than 14 inches is best on the eyes, and if you plan to use the laptop for entertainment then go for the 17-inch model, it’s well worth it.
