Microsoft Dynamics GP Customization outsourcing

Major customization tools are: Microsoft Dexterity, eConnect, Extender, Integration Manager, MS SQL Server Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, VBA/Modifier, GP ReportWriter.  Certain custom logic could be created in MS Visual Studio.Net C# or VB logic, typically with ADO.Net, accessing GP SQL company database.  Outsourcing options:

• US Based firm with developers offshore.  This is very good way, because you deal with implementation, software sale and customization with one company and this MBS VAR coordinates its international units with custom logic delivery
• MBS ISV in Manila. Philippines.  In 1990th and earlier 2000th Great Plains Software and later on Microsoft Business Solutions had an office and development facility in Manila.  So, it is not a surprise that large pool of former Microsoft Dexterity developers exists in Philippines.  Also, to honor the contribution of Australian Great Plains developers – they were leading knowledge transfer to Manila based Dex developers back in 1990th.  Just to remind – such legendary company as Intellisol – developer of Intellison Project Accounting and Advanced Purchase Order Processing was initiated in Australia.
• MBS ISV in India.  Historically in 1990th India didn’t have a lot of Great Plains Dynamics installations as well as supporting Great Plains consultants and developers.  However things changed in 2001-2003, when a lot of Indian-born developers returned to India from US, where they worked in GP VAR companies in 1990th high-tech boom era
