What I like about the strategy and time/resource management games is that they make an impression that you are actually able to control at least something. This "something" can be different things - a mall, a restaurant, a town or a farm. This time around playing Royal Envoy you are to take care of a land that involves several islands. Not a bad self-esteem builder, isn't it?
You start the game by choosing to take the king's challenge and try to find ways to build and protect the land and the citizens from the destructive forces of nature. If you succeed in this job you can become the Islanshire's chief planner.
But you don't think that it is the only challenge you are to face, do you? Be ready to meet the pirates, to fight for the treasures and go to the hot-air balloon adventure. The game looks and sounds just as bright and vibrant as it plays.
You are to build all different kinds of buildings and upgrade them. As it usually happens in games like these, you are going to see the task for the levels and the amount of resources you possess to do that.
There is also a trophy room where all your earned trophies go. They will be standing on the shelves shiny and bright available to be seen any time you want to.
In between the islands that you are visiting and rebuilding you have an opportunity to spend some time on your ship.
While you are there you keep the ship's log filling it with the information about the places you visited and the experience that you had there.
All in all the game is challenging and interesting enough to keep you in front of your computer just a little bit more...
But you can always take an advantage of a trial version to make up your mind.
