Serial Data Recorder is a self-contained, low-power tool for logging RS-232 and other serial data to flash media that is an ideal replacement for PC-based data systems.
Its configuration flexibility and straightforward setup really makes it easy to arrange into any serial data recording application. User can record data within minutes not days or weeks.
How it works?
User has to just push the 'On' button to start AntiLog recording serial port data. Hold the 'Off' button down to stop a data logging session and switch the unit off. Simply switch on and off like this to continue RS232 data logging as required, data will be appended to the store.
However, user has to hold the 'On' button down for more than a second to put the unit in playback mode. In this mode, one can configure the system to his needs. A menu system appears which can be view and operate using any serial port terminal application. With this menu system, it can be defined exactly how AntiLog handles data recording and playback could be done. This is how setting of recording and playback serial port, recording and playback modes (e.g. 'real time') and all other options occur.
While in playback mode, simply push the 'On' and 'Off' buttons as many times as per want to start and stop data replay. Hold the 'Off' button down for more than a second to switch the unit off as before.
Furthermore, users are not restricted to playing back data at the same baud rate it was recorded. One can also optionally embed recorded time tag information in playback data streams. All settings are non-volatile as it only has to set them once even if all sources of power are removed.
There is also no need to transport an enormous power source around because instead of consuming hundreds of milli watts or more of power, AntiLog can record RS232 data happily for days on a single PP3 battery. As an example, serial data recorder uses typically just 80mW (including media power consumption) to record full rate continuous binary data at 115200 baud.
It has the ability to dynamically reduce power consumption based on baud rates in use less than 115,200. This means, it is also ideal for recording GPS NMEA receiver data which is generally transmitted at a rate significantly less than 115,200 baud.
AntiLog V5.2 can further reduces power consumption if no RS232 data is being received or transmitted. This can result in up to a further 25% power saving in trials situations compared to the standard V3.7 release.
If the equipment that users wish to log data from has a serial port connection designed to fit into a standard PC, simply plug this instead into AntiLog and it is simply ready to record the output from the equipment. Through it, one can even record more data from specific equipment than with a PC RS232 data logging program because the standard serial port on a PC will miss data every once in a while, particularly if a Microsoft Operating System is in use and the equipment baud rate is above 19200.
Key Features of Serial Data Recorder:
Typical Applications
Serial data recorders carry following applications:
Office Informants with no strings attached
Hardware Keyloggers – fastest way to guarantee a computer monitoring. Used for keystroke logging, a mechanism of capturing and recording computer users’ keystrokes, even sensitive passwords. Executed by means of a BIOS-level firmware, or via a device plugged online between a computer keyboard and a computer; logging keyboard activity to their internal memory.Internet speed test On Next Level
Internet is a fundamental part of today’s world but it is significant to understand the nitty-gritty specifically while when comparing with other Internet Service Providers Conduct a speed test and if it is not going well as compared to ensure speed by Internet Service Provider, then do check modem or router. It has been found that the biggest cause of slow internet is a bad modem.Usefull Guide To internet speed test
During online work, internet speed does really matter that can make the work done in minutes or in other case of slow speed, it could take several hours to get it done. Internet speed is fundamentally measured that how much data could be sent to the user, generally per second. Thus, the more the bandwidth so the faster data could be transferred.
