USB Printer does not print

These printer are of different category based on there network type and there print type. These days the most popular printer that are used in the homes are USB printers as they easy to connect to the computer and more over if you do not have drives CD and you want to connect the printer urgently it does downloads the printer drivers on its own. However there is always a gray area of ant product we use and thus these printer are also not perfect and you may come up with problems like not able to print or not able to print the color.

There are different kind of printer problems however if you follow some of the generic steps to resolve these problem.
Step 1
We use our printer along with our computer and may be you are not able to print because of the miscommunication which may be because of the loose USB cable. There for the first step to get the printer working should be , please make sure all the cable are plugged in properly.
Step 2
There may be issue like when you try to print a page, it prints out blank pages. These issue can be with the ink of the computer and thus I would advices you to check the cartridge of your printer. Once you have checked the cartridge of your computer you should be able to print without any problem.
Step 3
At times the problem is not with the printer or the computer it is with the application that you are trying to use. Lets pick an example you are not able to print the attachment from your outlook and then you start checking the cable and other stuff that would not be any good so please print a test page to check if it is a problem with the Outlook or Printer. First go to the control panel and then Printer and fax or Printer and then right click the printer and pick the properties and ten please select the one that says Print a Test page.
Step 4
If you are able to print with the above command then please check the setting of the outlook and try to restart the computer or trouble shoot the application instead of Printer.
Step 5
In case you are not able to print the test page I would suggest you to go to the add remove program in the control panel for Windows XP and for Windows Vista and Windows 7 please go to the program and features in the control panel and then uninstall the printer drives and then turn off the printer and then turn it on and connect it back to the computer.

These steps should help you in getting the printer to work without any problem.
