When it comes to intercourse between women and men its fair to say that the guys will always achieve a climax. Why is this sexual function different for many women and why should it be harder for women to achieve climax?
According to a representative from the Advanced Medical Institute Australia, 10% of women fake climax when ever they have sex. The AMI research also concludes that 65% of females admitted to faking climax at some point.
The majority of women who took part in this sex research admitted that their sex lives were not as satisfying as they would like it to be. In fact nearly 80% indicated this to be the case. The AMI also determined the primary reason women are faking climax is so they could get sex out of the way and still leave thier partners ego in tact, and so not to offend their guy leaving them feeling good about themselves. Faking orgasm also relieved women of having to explain about not being satisfied in the bedroom.
Younger women up to the age of 24 orgasm less than women aged between the age 25-35. So the good news for women is that reaching orgasm becomes easier with age.
In compiling this information, we also compared womens profiles from one of Australia's free online dating sites to see if it was inline with the AMI's findings. We conducted our own research in conjunction with The La Trobe University’s School of Public Wellness and the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society.
We interviewed around 500 female singles via online chat. Some conclusive statistics found that 19% of 18-24 year old females never climax during sexual activity, this falls to 8% for females aged 25-34 and only 3% of females aged 35-64.
The question still remains, why are men designed to orgasm everytime they have sex? Perhaps this goes right back to the core of human existance in that sperm is required to re-produce, hence its not necessary for women to climax in order to re-produce.
This aside, it appears that it simply comes down to our anatomy. Italian scientists have applied ultrasounds to demonstrate that the mythical G-spot exists. Researchers think that all women bear a G-Spot, however since it is not a "spot" as such, it is unattainable to distinguish. The G-Spot is a region approximately one and a half inches up inside the vagina on the front wall and it is renowned that when a female is very sexually excited it becomes erected, broader and very susceptible to arousal.
On a different topic and somewhat amusing but keeping in theme with this article, organizers of global peace activities have arranged a global, synchronal orgasm as a way of touching on peace and reducing tension across the world - Date yet to be confirmed.
