With all the turmoil in the last few days and weeks over the current economic crisis one thing has become clear. Apparently, somewhere along the way, the people in power forgot what it meant to be a leader. The CEOs, the people on Wall Street, and especially the people in Congress seemed to be more worried about their own well-being than that of the majority. Where are all the leaders? Why is it so hard for these people to take a stand? I am going to tell you about such a man, Chris Hutcherson.
You may think that leadership is a lost art. Maybe you have never met a real leader in your life. I have had the honor of meeting and working with a true leader. Chris Hutcherson embodies the very definition of a leader.
Chris is a leader under challenging circumstances. People that follow Chris do so by choice. They are not employed by him. They could leave the organization at any time. Yet people have entrusted him with their future and their money. They have given of their time and talents all toward a new project, something that has never been done. Quite likely the next great thing, but there are never any guarantees. Yet, people follow Chris and they continue to follow him.
Where Chris will ultimately lead us has yet to be seen, but we are definitely have a good time along the way! Chris has the rare gift of being fun without losing control. He is firm without ever being condescending or rude. With Chris' leadership abilities, we definitely get things done and we will definitely be at the top.
So, what the secret of Chris Hutcherson? He understands The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership as outlined in the book by John Maxwell. He understands the importance of having a clear goal in mind and how to articulate that goal to others. He is not afraid to open himself up and let others know what is important to him.
It has been my pleasure and honor to work with Chris Hutcherson over the past year and I look forward to many years to come. In business, I know I can put my trust in Chris. On a personal level, I know that Chris will be there whenever I need him. Most people can't even say that about people in their own family! I hope that you work with someone with the skills and heart that Chris Hutcherson has and if you don't already, don't you think you should?

We all know that we should probably be drinking more water. We have all heard the health benefits staying hydrated. But we get busy and we forget to drink.
