CAT 2015 is scheduled on 29 November, 2015 and the admit cards were released on 25 October, 2015. One must carry all the mandatory documents on the examination day. Here's all you need to know about the documents.

CAT 2015 is scheduled to be held on 29 November,CAT 2015: Documents to be Carried Along Articles 2015. This year CAT is being conducted by IIM- Ahmedabad and there have been a lot of alterations in the examination pattern and the selection process. It is an online test that will be held in 36 cities across India, in two sessions. The admit cards for CAT 2015 was released on 25 October, 2015.

Every candidate must carry the admit card along on the test day as it is one of the important and mandatory documents. Anyone without the admit card will not be allowed to give the test. There are other mandatory documents that needs to be carried along with the admit card that one must not forget about. One needs to carry an original identity card along with the admit card to proof ones identity at the test venue. Candidates can carry college identity, employee identity, driving license, passport, pan card or aadhaar card. The Identity card shall be original and valid. If a candidate does not have any identity proof that has been listed by the IIMs, then one must get an identification affidavit made. The format of the identification affidavit is available on the official website of CAT.

The Identification proof needs to have a photo and signature of the candidate. Also, the name on the identification proof should match that on the admit card. The ID card should not be damaged, smudged or tampered in any way.

A photo of the candidate has to be pasted on the admit card. One must keep in mind to paste the same photograph as already printed in the admit card. One must remember that fixing another photograph may lead to disqualifying from the CAT 2015 exam. One must also remember not to sign the admit card beforehand. It needs to be done in front of the invigilator.

One can download the admit card till CAT 2015 exam date from the official site of CAT. There are details regarding the venue, time of reporting and time of examination in the admit card that one needs to keep in mind. One has to report at 7: 30 Am for the forenoon session and at 1: 00 Pm for the afternoon session. The result is expected to be released in the second week of January, 2016.
