Boasting both 500-hour and 1000-hour training courses, Mesa Academy provides both a 500-hour Sports Massage Program and a 1000-hour Sports Massage Advanced Program. Interested in becoming a Holistic Health Practitioner? Like all of the massage programs at Mesa Academy, both 500-hour and 1000-hour programs in holistic health are offered. Placing an emphasis on massage therapy, the holistic health practitioner program includes Oriental medicine traditions like Shiatsu, acupressure, aromatherapy, and Ayurveda. Graduates of the 1000-hour Holistic Health Practitioner Program meet licensing requirements throughout the United States.
The 1000-hour Clinical Massage Practitioner Program at Mesa Academy prepares students to meet Nationwide licensing requirements; a 500-hour program is also available. Core training entails lymphatic drainage, Lomi Lomi, Nutrition, Myotherapy, reflexology, chair massage, pre/post natal massage, in addition to several other related classes.
Electives at Mesa Academy include courses in business/marketing, Ayurveda therapy, Lomi Lomi, lymph drainage therapy, energy therapies, stone massage therapy, and National Board Certification preparation, among others.
