What is Blue CSCS Card?
The blue CSCS card has the validity of 5 years and can be renewed again after qualifying the renewal test. Eligibility for this Card
If you have achieved a diploma in level 2 NVQ in construction or completed an apprenticeship including the achievement of a City and Guilds of London Institution Craft Certificate, then you are eligible for this card.
How to apply for a Blue CSCS Card?
The first step for getting a CSCS Card is getting a relevant qualification. It simply means that you are required an NVQ or SVQ level 2 certification. If you already have an NVQ level 2 certification then you can go for further steps.
The second step is that you need to do is to pass the safety & environment, CITB health test for operatives. After passing the test, you will be able to get a CSCS card.
The last step is to apply for the CSCS card with the help of the CSCS website. Apply for the card and pay. When you will submit the application and pay the fee, then the executive will post your card.
The time required to complete a CSCS test
The duration of the CITB Health, safety and environment test is 45 minutes. In this test, there are 50 MCQ questions. These questions include knowledge questions and a case study. You will have to arrive 15 minutes before the test begins. The CSCS test is taken on a computer at a CITB approved test centres. Once you clear it, you will become eligible for Blue CSCS card.
