Becoming a radiology technician is both a career and education choice. As a career, it offers competitive pay, a certain amount of job security, and the opportunity to become a part of the medical community. The education, however, is somewhat specialized. Generally speaking, online schools will be a faster and less expensive way to get the initial degree, but the student will need third-party assistance getting into a clinicals program. A campus degree will be more expensive and regimented, but the campus will usually know what to do to get a student into clinicals, and how to do it.
